What's the Story?
CREAMERIE takes place in a world where a virus has exterminated the entire population of men. This leaves the surviving women the task of rebuilding society. Eight years later, the Wellness Committee has done just that: healthcare for all, education, and mandatory menstrual leave. The biggest and most sacred task of all? Repopulating, especially with very limited sources of semen. At a local dairy farm, Jamie, Alex, and Pip (JJ Fong, Ally Xue, Perlina Lau) are trying to survive in the new world. The rule-following Pip, rebellious Alex, and wannabe mother Jamie find themselves constantly on the outside of Wellness. But what happens when the trio runs into a rare and endangered species: a man?
Is It Any Good?
This series is filled with absurd yet heartfelt moments. Creamerie is funny, dark, and sometimes emotional. The show takes a sincere yet cynically hilarious approach to a man less world. The characters are intriguing and witty. The language, violence, and sexual content makes this suitable for older teens.
