What's the Story?

DANCE LIFE follows the journey of the students and instructors at the Brent Street Dance studio in Sydney, Australia. The series spotlights key instructors and profiles full-time students in the class of 2022, through their grueling training days, the challenges they face, and the progress they make. Instructor Cassie, who has danced with Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Katy Perry, and on X Factor, is a well-loved commercial jazz dance instructor who draws students in because of her impressive skills and tough love. Brent Street students have a common goal: getting an offer for a job from an agent or choreographer. Who will make it in this competitive life?

The passionate, hardworking group of young, bright-eyed students is inspiring, and sometimes heartbreaking, to watch. The support and comfort they give each other in Dance Life, along with the impressive dance moves, make this an enjoyable watch. You'll be rooting for your favorite dancers by the end and hoping to see them shine in the real world of professional dance.
