What's the Story?
In DANIEL TIGER'S NEIGHBORHOOD: DANIEL VISITS A NEW NEIGHBORHOOD, Daniel Tiger takes his very first trip out of the Neighborhood of Make Believe. He and his mom take a train to visit family friends - Daniel's pen pal, Juan Carlos; Juan Carlos' mom Valentina, a dear friend of Mom Tiger; and Juan Carlos' dad. Juan Carlos' neighborhood is different from Daniel's - the houses are brightly colored, they eat jicama and licuado de platano, and they speak Spanish. During the visit, the characters experience good times and a few disappointments, but through it all, Daniel Tiger is reminded that he is happy as long as he's with his loved ones.
