What's the Story?

In the town of DEADLOCH, Senior Sergeant Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) is struggling to retire from her detective role and lean into a domestic life with her wife. When a murder shocks the town, Detective Eddie Radcliffe (Madeleine Sami) is called in as lead on the case. There's just one problem: Collins goes by the books and Radcliffe is extremely impulsive. They butt heads constantly and disagree on everything, affecting their work. Can Collins hang up her inquisitive hat for her relationship? What secrets does Radcliffe have back in her hometown? Can these two get it together and solve the case?

Humor is alive and well in this riveting series. Deadloch is funny, fast-paced, and just the right amount of bizarre. The absurdity of the townspeople and situations are sure to get a laugh from viewers (either from shock or comedy). The bickering dynamic between Kate Box and Madeleine Sami is portrayed well. Due to the extreme language, graphic sexual humor, and some violence, this series should be watched by older viewers.
