What's the Story?
Christina Boyer's life seems to be full of DEMONS AND SAVIORS. Imprisoned for the murder of her toddler daughter, Boyer recounts what led her to this moment, from her adoption as a child into an abusive, heavily religious family, to the discovery of her supernatural abilities and the news circus that followed. Boyer's family, childhood friends, and experts in the supernatural and psychological fields weigh in on her life, past choices, and what lead to her being convicted of her daughter's death.
Is It Any Good?
This series jumps right into the "wow factor" of the story: true crime and supernatural powers. Demons and Saviors starts as a sensationalized origin story of a troubled girl and morphs into something more complicated and morbid. Those familiar with the story might appreciate this deep dive, while others might find it to be an over-sensationalized shallow trek into the past. Aside from some candid conversations about child abuse and violence, and swearing, this series is suitable for most teens.

How do you feel about Christina being charged with the death of her daughter? Do you think her past was factored into that decision? What does this show of the court system at that time? How does it compare to today?
