What's the Story?

DISNEY'S FAIRY TALE WEDDINGS makes nuptial dreams come true for couples whose happily ever afters have a special connection to the Disney brand and destinations. Hosted by Allison Holker and husband Stephen "tWitch" Boss, the documentary series features the love stories and wedding planning process of two couples in each episode, devoting time to introducing them and revisiting their relationship and engagement stories, as well as explaining their personal affinities for Disney venues. The couples work alongside Disney representatives to create one-of-a-kind wedding experiences in and around the entertainment complexes.

Is It Any Good?

If you've ever dreamt of saying "I do" in front of Cinderella's castle wearing a gown that's fit for a ball, then this docuseries will speak to you. These lucky couples need only say the magic words ("I've always dreamed of...") to have just about anything they request in the way of wedding backdrops and décor at their fingertips, and the finished products are awe-inspiring. Just like in the theme parks themselves, there's attention paid to every detail, and with the magnificence of the Disney brand on full display throughout.

This series is a fanciful departure from most people's grasp on real life, especially when it comes to the expense and logistics of planning a ceremony. To its credit, though, it never claims to be anything else. The reality is right in its name -- Fairy Tale Weddings, after all -- and these events are as opulent and impressive productions as are any other in Disney's repertoire. It's not destined for broad appeal certainly, but if celebrations of sweet love stories and festive galas are your thing, then these stunning weddings will wow you.
