What's the Story?

Based on a true story, DOC takes place in a Minneapolis hospital where Dr. Amy Larsen (Molly Parker, Deadwood) is the physician in charge of her unit. Her chilly demeanor has rubbed many patients and colleagues the wrong way over the years. But when she suffers a brain injury in a car accident, her memory suffers, and she has to face some terrible truths about her past. Will she make peace with those she's wronged? How will she deal with those who've wronged her?

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say ( 2 ):

A commanding performance from Molly Parker entices viewers to follow her character's journey back to life after a traumatic brain injury in this gripping and twisty drama. In Doc, ambitious doctors must grapple with their vulnerabilities as sudden changes force an edgy alpha character to examine her choices.

Teens and adults who like medical dramas will enjoy this show. Sensitive viewers might cringe at some of the medical procedures, but they aren't as gratuitous as in other medical series.
