This series paints a quick but detailed portrait of the Deep South. Down in the Valley is authentic, vulnerable, fast-paced, and fun. Each episode is packed with rich history and personality, which the short episodes don't give enough time to unpack. Viewers might be left wanting a longer runtime, but it doesn't make the stories any less insightful and unique. Fans of the series P-Valley will enjoy Nicco's charisma. The sexual content and language make this more suitable for older teens.
