Is It Any Good?
This docuseries takes a different approach to stories about alien sightings and abductions, telling its stories with compassion for its subjects. Encounters is able to present both skepticism toward and true belief in alien encounters without tipping the scales toward either. As a result, the show is uniquely able to place viewers not within the UFO sighting itself but in the emotional experience and its aftermath.
