While the premise is a bit morbid, this interview special filmed in March 2025 is a riveting final goodbye from the world's most famous primatologist. In Famous Last Words: Dr. Jane Goodall, the doctor is utterly herself; both playful and serious as she discusses her life and the impact she's had on the world. Goodall is unafraid to state her opinions: she has harsh words for some people she'd like to see "go up in one of Musk's spaceships"—this includes Elon Musk himself, as well as world leaders Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Benjamin Netanyahu. While it's hard to say if there's anything the relentlessly brave Goodall says here that she might have been afraid to say in life, it's a lovely legacy for her to leave with us.
