FANTASMAS follows Julio Torres as he searches for a missing oyster earring, encountering a wild cast of characters along the way.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:

Julio Torres has a way of creating crowd-pleasing work that feels like it exists in its own universe. Following up the low-key success of Los Espookys, Torres' Fantasmas takes sketch comedy tropes and chases them down new avenues. With a seemingly endless amount of guest stars in inspired roles (like a Real Housewives parody starring Emma Stone, Rosie Perez, Rachel Dratch, and Cole Escola), the series is more surreal than laugh-out-loud funny, but it's perfect late-night entertainment with a unique, potent point of view.
