Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage
What's the Story?
In GEORGIE & MANDY'S FIRST WEDDING, Georgie (Montana Jordan), and his wife, Mandy (Emily Osment), have moved with their baby, CeeCee, into Mandy's family's home. Georgie and Mandy put aside their ideas of living independently in order to save money and get a leg up in the world. Mrs. McAllister doesn't exactly roll out the red carpet for the teenager who got her daughter pregnant. Mr. McAllister, on the other hand, gave his new son-in-law a job at his car repair shop. Can the family learn to tolerate each other enough to make things work? Or will Georgie and Mandy be moving on sooner than expected?
Is It Any Good?
This show that focuses on a relatable storyline of a sibling to a beloved character doesn't steer clear of moral issues, but can it hold the interest of fans who loved Sheldon's quirky antics? Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage continues life in Texas, but the Big Bang prequel misses the very character others revolved around.
A charming opening sequence sets the tone for romance between two characters that may swell to a dramatic conclusion; the title implies that there may be more than one marriage. Young teens and fans of Young Sheldon and Big Bang Theory might want to find out what happens to characters they enjoyed watching before. Adults and new viewers will likely be less intrigued.
