This series comes from a Black family with backgrounds in psychology, music and education and it seamlessly promotes positive values through upbeat songs. Originating from the desire to increase on-screen representation, Gracie's Corner celebrates Black culture incorporating musical references from R&B, trap, and reggae, which keeps the sound fresh and appealing to kids. While the visuals may feel a bit too static for older preschoolers, it's a great alternative for young toddlers who also enjoy Cocomelon and other nursery rhymes.
