What's the Story?

I WILL FIND YOU begins in a prison cell, where David Burroughs (Sam Worthington) has been locked away for the murder of his son. When his sister-in-law (Britt Lower) brings evidence that his son might still be alive, Burroughs must find a way to track him down, no matter the cost.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say ( 1 ):

This seemingly umpteenth Harlan Coben series falls short of modest expectations. Since their inception, Coben miniseries have been reliable sources of high-floor/low-ceiling crime drama, but I Will Find You is a little different. The action has been relocated from Britain to Boston; fittingly, the production looks like a late-1990s cable drama, the action confined to a few characters in small rooms, with a couple of stock action pieces here and there to break up the monotony. Even the setup lacks common sense, as Worthington's central character is sent to a prison where the warden has been friendly with him since childhood. Though some U.K.-based Coben adaptations are better than others, one thing they've shared is energy and urgency. This U.S. edition feels mailed in.
