What's the Story?

In JACK WHITEHALL: FATHERHOOD WITH MY FATHER, British comedian Jack Whitehall is soon to be a father. He admits he's the least prepared person he knows for fatherhood—his dad agrees. Jack devises a plan to get his dad on board of some of his schemes to prep for parenting. Will Jack grow up in time to be a good father? Will his own father show him the way?

Silly, cringey, and devoted, comedian Jack Whitehall pays a funny tribute to his parents in this documentary-style show. In Jack Whitehall: Fatherhood with My Father, look for a sweet center, where a mother moons over her adult son who fears the journey he's about to embark upon.

If families can get past some of the lewd jokes and language, there are laughs to be shared here. Not best for younger teens or sensitive viewers, but older kids can get inspired by the chronically immature comedian and his hard-boiled father, who somehow get along with the help of witty quips and a healthy tolerance for another's unique personality.
