What's the Story?
KAULITZ & KAULITZ is an unscripted series featuring adult twins and Tokio Hotel frontmen Bill and Tom Kaulitz. Cameras follow the close siblings, who have been performing since they were 12 and who were European superstars by the time they were 16, in Los Angeles and in Germany as they finish a tour, talk to their mom, go to doctor's appointments, and celebrate their birthday with friends. They also offer some insight what it was to have to deal with fame at such a young age, and the challenges they faced as they grew into adulthood. The two talk about what life is like living independently, now that Tom is married to model and TV show host Heidi Klum. There never seems to be a dull moment, but the two will always have each other's back no matter what.
Is It Any Good?
The lighthearted reality series, available subtitled and dubbed in English, offers a voyeuristic look into the lives of twin brothers who have been popular music stars for most of their lives. Bill Kaulitz is the star of the show thanks to his colorful personality and seemingly always-positive attitude. Meanwhile, Tom is more reserved, and is unwilling to have cameras in his home or talk very much about his family. Nonetheless, the two are likable and sensitive, and their close relationship is what drives the overall show. It probably won't appeal to folks who aren't Tokio Hotel fans, but those who are will find Kaulitz & Kaulitz worth watching.
