What's the Story?

KOATI features a cartoon collection of rainforest friends who have celebrations and adventures together while learning, laughing, singing, and working together. There are charming snakes, coati, frogs, axolotl, and more who live in harmony and solve a conflict together or achieve a goal through friendship and community. Voice cast includes Sofía Vergara, Joe Manganiello, Rafael Dovarganes, and more. Episodes take place in the fictional village of Xo, which is based on Latin American locations, and episodes include names and drawings of real Latin American animals, locations, mythology, and history.

Young kids will enjoy this show's charming and catchy songs, kind characters, and modeling of collaborative and empathetic behavior. Koati is a pleasant watch for parents too—it never feels cheesy, and the episodes are quick, interesting, and full of lessons of empowerment and encouragement. Viewers who remember the characters fromTumble Leaf will find the characters from Koati wonderful companions.
