What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Kuroko's Basketball is an anime series based on the manga of the same name created by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. It contains some positive themes such as hard work, perseverance, teamwork, being kind and helping others. There is some occasional violence when fights break out between teams, with a few punches being thrown. Occasional iffy language includes "hell," "bastard," "damn," and "s--t." Male players are shown shirtless throughout the series and one female character's cleavage is shown.

What's the Story?
KUROKO'S BASKETBALL is a show about Kuroko Tetsuya (voiced by Khoi Dao in the English version), a prodigy basketball player who joins the Seirin High School basketball team. At the same time Taiga Kagami (Zeno Robinson), a fierce player with tremendous skill, also joins the Seirin team. Both players love basketball and despite their significant differences in personality and ability they form a strong bond. Together they vow to make the Seirin team the best in all of Japan and win the interhigh championship tournament.
Is It Any Good?
This basketball anime features players with superpower-like abilities and is a blast to watch. Kuroko's Basketball is an action-packed sports anime that features great art and animation and brings the fast-paced, thrilling matches to life. The characters are memorable, and each has unique basketball skills that make every match a new and interesting challenge for the Seirin team. There are also positive lessons about hard work, teamwork, friendship, and growth that show how characters positively develop. Overall, this series is a fun, sports-themed adventure that teens and adults will enjoy.
