Lego Disney Frozen: Operation Puffins
What's the Story?
After the events of Frozen, the Duke of Weselton is banished from his kingdom in LEGO DISNEY FROZEN: OPERATION PUFFINS. Without a home, the Duke leads a group of puffins on a mission to create a new place for himself using the pieces of Arendelle's castle, where Anna and Elsa are building a home with Kristoff, Sven and Olaf. Through thrilling boat rides and fast train rides where they chase the pieces to rebuild their palace, the heroes realize that home is truly where they are.
Is It Any Good?
Light and action-packed, this short is enjoyable for young fans of Frozen, who'd like to see their characters on new adventures. Older kids might find Lego Disney Frozen: Operation Puffins a little less engaging due to its flattening of characters and no-nuance storyline. The short is simple and, indeed, short, but it packs strong messages about family and tradition, as well as visual comedy that'll make preschoolers giggle, like the villain constantly losing his wig. Superfans of the franchise should note that the English voice cast is different from the movies, so the characters may sound slightly different.
Talk to Your Kids About ...

For a while, Anna thinks honoring tradition means keeping things the same. What is it actually about? Do you or your family have your own traditions?
Are the Legos you see on screen real? Can you think of differences between the sets in the special and the ones you can own?
