Lego Age-by-Age Guide

Everything is awesome when it comes to Lego movies, games, and TV shows for kids. The popular toy has embraced the world of media, working with familiar franchises such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Batman to create physics-defying verbal and visual treats. Unlike many other toy-driven franchises, the Lego universe has more to offer than feature-length ads. Many stories stand alone as fun adventures that encourage collaboration and creativity. Sure, your kids might want a brand-new set after watching The Lego Batman Movie, but, along with toy models, they'll be getting role models, too.

While there's a wide range of Lego media titles to choose from, some are better for certain age groups. All kids are different, so check the reviews and assess your child's ability to handle action and peril before you play the games or watch the movies and TV shows.
