What's the Story?

As the island town of Manesatika, Greece slowly starts to come out of COVID-19 lockdown, the stories of each member of a family of four are explored. The father has political aspirations, the mother has just had a hush-hush abortion, and both of the older teenage children are sick of the conservative, repressed society they've been stuck in during the pandemic. When a maestro in his 50s comes to help the town organize their music festival, he enters into an illicit affair with the family's teenage daughter. Where will this all lead?

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say ( 1 ):

Despite its mature storylines and the early establishment of hidden identities, this drama falls short in terms of character development and narrative depth. While there are intriguing twists and turns in Maestro in Blue, the heavy-handed male gaze, particularly in Klelia's overly sexualized portrayal, detracts from the overall experience. Ultimately, the show's potential is undermined by its shortcomings in character portrayal and storytelling.
