What's the Story?

MARVEL ZOMBIES opens in a clearly post-apocalyptic world. The type of apocalypse? Zombie, of course. With few humans left on Earth, even superheroes are scattered and fighting for their lives. These include Kamala Khan (voiced by Iman Vellani), who, along with her friends Riri (Dominique Thorne) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), discovers a transmitter that holds the key to survival. But it must be returned to space in order to work, and they don't have a spaceship...yet. With the help of several Avengers, including the Thunderbolts crew—Shang-Chi and Katy, Ant-Man, Thor, Blade Knight (a new combo of Blade and Moon Knight), and many more—Khan hopes to defeat the threat. And these are no average zombies: They have powers that rival the superheroes they're fighting. Some former Avengers have even become zombies, including Captain America and Hawkeye. Do the remaining heroes have a chance against the growing zombie horde?

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 4 ):
Kids say ( 6 ):

This miniseries is action-packed and gory fun for those superhero fans who like a little extra yuck. Set in yet another alternate timeline, Marvel Zombies is a solid, self-contained story that packs in nearly all of the current Marvel docket. Original actors from the films voice most of their characters, adding a dose of quality and continuity. Each episode focuses on a few characters, giving their stories time to shine, but it's still a little bit chaotic, especially if you're not caught up on Marvel canon. Note: Don't expect all your favorites to live in this bloodbath of a show. Characters lose and grieve many loved ones along the way.
