What's the Story?

MIRA, ROYAL DETECTIVE: THE MYSTERY OF THE LEGENDARY SWORD is set in present day Jalipur, India -- but is rooted in a story from ancient times. When Mira and Prince Neel find a sheath from the legendary Eagle Sword, the queen tasks them with finding the sword. Along with Prince Veer and the mongooses, they set off to find out if King Bahadur Singh's sword is real or just a myth. Along the way they make a new friend, have to solve riddles, and escape boobytraps. Will the friends be able to work together and solve the mystery?

A wonderful continuation of adored character's stories, this special has all of the same important messages and themes as the original show. The richness of Indian culture, architecture, and legendary stories leaps off the screen. Bright colors and bold music characterize the show. Female empowerment takes center stage.

The story is told in a developmentally appropriate way that young viewers can understand and appreciate. Elements or predictability, along with surprises, creates a fun viewing experience. Viewers not only learn about Indian culture, but can practice problem-solving skills as well.
