What's the Story?
In MO WILLEMS STORYTIME SHORTS the beloved children's book author-illustrator stories come to life through animation. Children can enjoy a new way of engaging with their favorite characters from stories such as, The Pigeon Has to Go to School, Nanette's Baguette, and Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs. Each story presents the main character with an obstacle they must overcome. While some characters appear to be silly, confused, or distracted - they all rely on their own thinking skills to face the challenge ahead. While the stories may be familiar to those who love the books, Mo Willems' voice provides a new dimension to the experience of hearing the stories.
Is It Any Good?
Fans of Willems' stories will love these retellings, accompanied by animation. Mo Willems Storytime Shorts brings the author-illustrator's famed words and illustrations to the screen in a way children have yet to see before. The pace of the story telling is slow, to help children process the content of the story as well as the characters' thoughts. Overall, this is an entertaining watch for the entire family.
