Fun survival show for working together rather than trying to outdo one another.

I watched an episode before letting the kids watch and our whole family has enjoyed it. The two guys aren't doing this for money or glory, they're just hanging out and showing people some basic themes for survival in the meantime, a large part of which is "depending on your friend and working together." Yes Donny says "ass" a lot and other words are bleeped out or certain body parts blurred out, but this is what kids will need to understand and this was a good intro to our elementary-age kids what is and isn't allowed in real life as well as in media. That the scenery is beautiful and they learn something about those areas as well as what to do if they ever get caught in the wild from 2 best friends who cooperate rather than the constant competition on TV is great. And the kids laugh at the "dad humor" the two guys sprinkle throughout. Some of the stuff they say is "adult" but again - it just means we have to talk with them about what they heard/saw/understood.

I wanted to like it, but

I watched one episode of this show, will not watch another. I cannot find one redeeming thing about this show. It is a poor attempt to replicate some of the other successful reality tv shows, but if fails miserably.

Too much violence
