What's the Story?

Narrated by the iconic biologist David Attenborough (Planet Earth), NATURE: PARENTHOOD explores the universal bond between parents and their young across various species. From the vast African savannas to the transformed landscapes of California after a historic rain season, the series highlights the ingenious ways animals raise their offspring and the increasingly difficult challenges they face as the planet's climate rapidly changes.

This is nature filmmaking at its emotional finest. While the baby animals in Nature: Parenthood are undeniably adorable, the storytelling is deeply poignant. The macro videography is particularly incredible, such as the close-up footage of a wasp building her pot and stocking it for larvae she will never meet. The ability to capture multiple species, including cheetahs, warthogs, and wildebeest, in a single shot creates a true sense of awe in the viewer. And David Attenborough's narration, paired with a score that masterfully shifts from humor to tension, makes this a must-watch for any nature lover.
