A Lot or a Little?
What you will—and won't—find in this TV show.
It highlights the highs and lows of Neymar’s career but does it from his (and his supporters') point of view.
Positive Role Models
Neymar is often characterized as seeking attention, behaving like a diva, and in some cases, unsportsmanlike, but these ideas are challenged. He's also revealed to be charitable, and a good role model for children, especially to those growing up in poverty in Brazil.
Neymar is from Brazil, but other players featured are from different countries and of different races.

Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that the Brazilian docuseries Neymar: The Perfect Chaos chronicles football player Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior's personal and professional life. It features interviews with the player and other famous footballers, and on occasion discusses some serious topics relating to poverty, being bullied as an athlete, and other issues. The word "f--k" is uttered in Portuguese and translated into English in the subtitles. Sports logos for companies like Nike and Puma, football club sponsors like Qatar Airlines, and others are also visible.
Is It Any Good?
This predictable docuseries, which is subtitled in English, features Neymar telling his life story in an attempt to counter the criticism he's received throughout his professional football career. He, along with his father, discuss what it was like to go from growing up in a São Paulo favela to becoming one of the world's best footballers. While Neymar's talent for the sport is highlighted, much of the discussion centers on the player's flamboyant style, as well as his attitude on and off the pitch, which is sometimes characterized as diva-esque and unsportsmanlike by other managers, players, and media pundits.
Many acknowledge that his behavior (much like this series) is designed to continue building up his successful and lucrative brand, but Neymar and his supporters also argue that his success makes him an easy target for critics, who they argue unfairly judge him. If you're not a football fan, chances are that you won't care either way. For those who are, Neymar: The Perfect Chaos will be of great interest.
