What's the Story?

Set in Mexico, PACT OF SILENCE revolves around four teenage girls who ran from a boarding school when one of them got pregnant, refusing to reveal which one. Now the baby they abandoned is grown up and on a mission to find her birth mother and exact her revenge for a childhood full of abuse.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 1 ):
Kids say : Not yet rated

A swift-paced revenge narrative adorned with extravagant fashion and picturesque Mexican landscapes. Where Pact of Silence falls short is in character development: The protagonist's relentless quest to find the mother who abandoned her is the only thing that defines her, and her four suspects are similarly one-dimensional. Though the series leans heavily into melodrama over storytelling, it still manages to keep viewers engaged in its central mystery. If you're in the mood for an intriguing drama with lots of eye candy, Pact of Silence may be worth a watch. But be warned, the scenes of child abuse and rape are difficult to watch and jarring in what could otherwise be considered a guilty pleasure.
