Cute pets and demonic practices

I watched part of an episode with my daughter and they were about to do "intuitive healing" and a Reiki session on a dog. Um, hello?! So new age occult practices are just mainstream and fine for kids now? I shut it off immediately.

This lighthearted reality series features the the staff of the Hollywood-based animal media company and booking platform searching for animals suited for lucrative Instagram campaigns. The pair travel to different animal-themed events, host auditions, and work with animals on photo shoots, all of which is intended to generate lots of profit when featured online.

There's some info about what makes an animal suitable for influencer work, and what specifically makes them marketable, which is an interesting angle to explore. But what Pet Stars really delivers on is showcasing different species of notable and quirky animals. Animal lovers will enjoy it, but even those who aren't may find this behind-the-scenes look at this unique industry intriguing.
