What's the Story?

A long time ago buccaneer Prudence Pocket gained the ability to shrink after finding a magical purple crystal, which she put into a locket that was passed down through the generations to eventually reach Polly Pocket. During her adventures using the locket, Polly visits a mermaid kingdom and discovers crystals in a variety of other colors, each offering their own special power. In POLLY POCKET SPARKLE COVE ADVENTURE, Polly competes in a competition using her "tiny power" against contestants who have each harnessed another type of crystal power. The winner will be awarded the coveted position of Protector of Sparkle Cove.

A new special in a delightful world where Polly Pocket's friends and family are not only aware of her secret locket powers but also wholeheartedly support her adventures. Polly Pocket Sparkle Cove Adventure shines in its portrayal of social and emotional intelligence, emphasizing the importance of empathizing with friends when they're upset. It also deserves praise for its inclusivity, featuring a large cast of characters with different ethnicities, genders, and abilities. However, it's also important for parents to be mindful this show depicts delayed consequences for negative behavior, which can sometimes have a confusing impact on very young viewers who may not easily connect actions to deferred outcomes.
