Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
After a not-so-great mission with his partner Lanny, Wayne wants to keep their troubles a secret in PREP & LANDING: THE SNOWBALL PROTOCOL. But when the duo is called for a meeting Santa, a nervous Wayne spills stories about past mission mishaps. Between taking care of a baby otter and managing a summer retreat, Wayne discovers that the real gift of the holidays is the friends who stand by us through it all.
Is It Any Good?
Where previous stories in this universe felt like uncovering another layer of a shared winter wonderland, this special also touches on summer and romance—and almost misses the mark of the season. Almost, because the big message in Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol is very clear and aligned with holiday spirit: that friendship is the greatest gift.
Younger kids will enjoy the duo's mishaps and the (very cute!) baby otter. Lanny and Wayne's work retreat might resonate better with older audiences, especially those who can relate to blooming romance or demanding workplaces (Magee's competence and increased presence are among the best things in this special).
