What's the Story?

RAEL: THE ALIEN PROPHET begins in the 1970s with UFO sightings in France, leading to the emergence of a man calling himself Rael, who claims to have contact with aliens. It explores the beliefs of Raelism, including the idea that life on Earth was designed by extraterrestrials. Spanning over 40 years, the docuseries examines how followers were drawn to Rael, their continued devotion, and the cult's controversial practices.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say : Not yet rated

This docuseries packs an array of sensational topics -- from alien conspiracies to human cloning -- into a narrative that still somehow manages to drag occasionally. Rael: The Alien Prophet's exploration of cult mentality is as bewildering as it is intriguing. The show could benefit from tighter editing and a more coherent narrative structure. Instead, viewers get a meandering story of chaos from start to finish.
