Rhythm + Flow Italy
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
RHYTHM + FLOW ITALY is reality game show that seeks to find the next Italian rap superstar. Rappers Fabri Fibra, Geolier, and Rose Villain hit the streets of Rome, Naples, and Milan, the cities best known for their prominent rap scene, to search for local talent. Those who audition for them and show the most promise thanks to their story, technique, and fresh approach to the genre are invited to compete for 100,000 EUR ($106K). But to win the money, they have to prove that they have what it takes by participating in rap battles, performing freestyle, make music videos, and write and perform original lyrics.
Is It Any Good?
The Italian installment of this competition show offers stateside viewers a chance to become more familiar with the Italian rap scene while watching aspiring performers work on their craft. Throughout Rhythm + Flow, each contestant shares some of their background, and reveals what drives them, while doing their best to impress. Meanwhile, Fabri Fibra, Geolier, and Rose Villain, who serve as judges along with other prominent folks in the industry, offer their blunt, but generally constructive feedback. Overall, for those who enjoy rap, Rhythm + Flow Italy offers a chance to enjoy some universally good music.
