What's the Story?

In ROBOGOBO, Dax (voiced by Ja'Siah Young) is a boy genius who loves tinkering and inventing. After adopting a group of five pets—a dog, a cat, a turtle, a bird, and a rabbit—he builds them robo-suits with special powers. Grateful for Dax's kindness taking care of them, the pets form a rescue team to help others.

It's yet another variation of the pet rescue team show, but it manages to stand out due to its charismatic lead character and strong lessons. You might not expect to like RoboGobo, but it's hard not to. If your kid likes this format, RoboGobo is a great choice.

Talk to Your Kids About ...

  • Parents can talk about the different species in RoboGobo and how these animals have different needs and abilities. Booster, the dog, is very fast but narrow-minded. Allie, the cat, is brave but also scared of loud noises. Do you think having differences makes their team stronger? Why?

  • Dax is the group leader and wants what's best for all, but his pets don't always listen to him. What is the importance of listening to others?

  • Have you seen other pet rescue shows, like Paw Patrol? Do you think RoboGobo is similar to that show? In what ways?
