Good Show if your kids are mature

Jack is a great role model. The show has some positive messages mainly about never giving up. There is lots of violence, but most of it is against robots.

Extraordinary Cartoon is Rewarding

Samurai Jack is a brilliant cartoon deserving of notice. It has five seasons, 4 of which were designed for children. The style is unique and has incredible stories. Seasons 1-4: 9+ Violence: - Most violence occurs with robots, with their limbs being sliced off - Lots of explosions - Rare violence against people or animals; usually involves knockouts - Some episodes have a dark undertone but should be okay with most children older than 9 - Jack is sometimes seen with scratches on his body Language: - Scottish nonsense Sexuality: - Jack sometimes is stripped down to his underwear Season 5: 14+ Violence: - Lots of blood - Explores Jack's insanity - Much darker than previous seasons Language: - Not much, PG language Sexuality: - Childhood flashback of Ashi naked, no details

First few seasons are good for 8 and up, but season 5 is darker, more mature.

Samurai jack has a bit of violence in the first few seasons, but it's fairly standard for cartoons. Season 5's violence is amped up a bit, but the maturity level mostly increases because of mature themes such as suicide.
