Selling the City
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
SELLING THE CITY follows a predominantly female team from Douglas Elliman, a luxury real estate brokerage agency in New York City. As they close deals on multimillion-dollar properties for the ultra-wealthy, viewers get a glimpse into jaw-dropping homes, cutthroat competition, and the dramatic dynamics among the team.
Is It Any Good?
The series delivers the expected mix of gorgeous real estate and interpersonal drama typical of shows in this genre. While the properties are breathtaking, Selling the City leans heavily into manufactured conflicts and stereotypes, including a recurring misogynistic undertone of women clashing with each other. While the show features impressive sales, it doesn't break new ground compared to similar real estate reality TV.
