What's the Story?

SHE'S THE BOSS is a reality series starring entrepreneur Nicole Walters and her family. The income strategist, who is famous for quitting her six-figure sales job at Periscope in 2015, now runs her successful online company from Atlanta. She lives there with her husband, stay-at-home attorney Josh Walters, and two of their adopted daughters, Krissy and Ally. Also joining them is Nicole's exuberant personal assistant and family "manny," Eddie Bernardez. There's never a dull moment, but this tight-knit family faces everything with positive communication and love.

Our review:

This lively unscripted series features the Walters family enjoying their day-to-day lives. From helping their daughters make positive decisions for themselves, to managing Eddie's larger-than-life personality, Nicole and Josh create a loving environment in which everyone thrives.

While there are many stilted, contrived moments (nothing you haven't seen on other reality shows), there's a sweetness to this series that makes it truly likable. Meanwhile, She's The Boss offers a positive representation of Black adoptive families. If you're looking for a lighthearted, family-themed reality show, you'll certainly find it here.
