SOS Fairy Manu
What's the Story?
SOS FAIRY MANU is an animated series that chronicles the daily life and adventures of Manu (voiced by Marjorie Blaitt in the original version), the newest and youngest Fairy Godmother in the Enchanted Kingdom. She's determined to help those in need with the assistance of her magical umbrella wand and her friends João (Lipe Volpato) and Duque (Hugo Picchi) by her side. Beloved fairy tale characters live in the town and cry out for her when there's a crisis to solve. She casts spells to save the day while trying to avoid the evil witch Valquíria (Tess Amorim). Having become a Fairy Godmother after her grandmother (also voiced by Amorim) announced her retirement, Manu thinks she knows it all -- but she often still needs her guidance.
Is It Any Good?
This delightfully fresh series allows viewers to venture into the Enchanted Kingdom of fairy tales like never before. SOS Fairy Manu is a beautifully animated 2D series that merges Brazilian culture with the fairy tale world. The show blends bright colors, music, and comedy for a fun and engaging experience. The characters' behavior can be eccentric at times, but this is balanced by their lightheartedness, kindness, and desires for adventure. This is a great example of an international animated series that translates to audiences around the world.
