This celebration of community, nature, and Native American history is such a worthwhile show to share with kids. Inspired by Native American folklore and the American national parks, the Spirit Rangers are vivid, joyful creatures who will draw preschoolers in from the start. With gorgeous animation and a unique setting that's peppered with Native American artifacts and culture, the show is broken up into two 15-minute stories per episode. Many include fun facts about the animals that populate the national park as well as the ranger's Native American culture. All of the characters are Native Americans who have a love for the natural world around them; the gentle storylines of the show center around themes like trying your best, working together, and being brave. Diversity and representation matters tremendously in kids' TV, which is yet another reason that Spirit Rangers is a series parents can feel good about watching with their young children.
