What's the Story?

In STAR WARS: MAUL - SHADOW LORD, Janix's local gangster scene is mystified when a new face in town performs a successful criminal heist. But who's the mystery man that's homing in on their territories? It's no spoiler to say that it's Shadow Lord Darth Maul and his Shadow Collective. He's in town looking to start fresh, and he's also on the hunt for a new protege. Could it be young Devon (Gideon Adlon), who happens to be a Jedi?

Is It Any Good?

This series, set directly after the Clone Wars, deftly presents another Star Wars underworld. Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord is an action-packed journey reminiscent of live-action shows like The Penguin, where villains get the star treatment. The voice cast is solid; a standout is British comedian Richard Ayoade, who was born to play one of the universe's fussy droids.
