What's the Story?
STAR WARS: TALES OF THE UNDERWORLD follows two notorious villains through some small but pivotal adventures. After a brush with death, former underling of Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, is living a quiet life. When she gets entangled with innocent young Jedi Lyco, they begin a search for the Path, where she hopes to find her love, Quinlan Vos. In another story thread, bounty hunter Cad Bane influences two teenage outlaws to do his bidding.
Is It Any Good?
These short stories aren't total redemption arcs, but they do include some softening of the villains' usual antics. Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld gives Ventress and Bane their due, but their sidekicks also shine, especially Lane Factor as the dutiful but sometimes immature Lyco. As usual, there's a lot of lore to be caught up on to understand all the nuances of each tale, but if you're up to date on your Star Wars, these brief adventures are a fun diversion.
