Taina and the Guardians of the Amazon
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
In TAINA AND THE GUARDIANS OF THE AMAZON, Taina is an indigenous girl from the Amazon rainforest who, together with her friends, protects the flora and fauna of that place, living through fun adventures of exploration and knowledge of the natural environment. The series addresses values such as friendship, respect for cultural differences, and biodiversity.
Is It Any Good?
Preschoolers will enjoy the jungle adventures of the brave Tainá, the monkey Catu, the vulture king Pepe, and the little hedgehog Suri. The characters always encounter challenges along the way, but manage to overcome them through creativity, perseverance, and teamwork.
These animals are pleasantly animated and the scenes are bright and colorful, making difficult situations seem non-threatening. The episodes are presented as an adventure show, although values and educational elements about the biodiversity of the rainforest are included. Young children will be able to relate to the lessons of each adventure and remain attentive thanks to the brevity of each episode (less than 15 minutes).
