What's the Story?

THE BEAUTY starts with a model viciously attacking people at a fashion show before spontaneously combusting. When a string of deaths around the world end in the same way, a team of FBI agents (Evan Peters, Rebecca Hall) are sent to investigate a possible virus being the cause. At the same time, Jeremy (Jeremy Pope) goes through an instant transformation to become desirable, which puts him in the crosshairs of some dangerous people (Anthony Ramos, Ashton Kutcher.)

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say ( 1 ):

This series takes a bloody, sinister, and occasionally aimless approach to the phrase "beauty is pain." The Beauty is grotesque, gory, and thrilling. It has Ryan Murphy's signature combo of celebrity cameos, topical tongue-in-cheek jabs, and over-the-top dark comedy. Fans of the book will either find this combo novel, or a nuisance. Peters' steady performance balances out the more grim, dark moments of the story. The violence, sex, language, drinking, and smoking makes this suitable only for older teens.
