The Bequeathed
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
THE BEQUEATHED follows Ms. Yong, an assistant art history professor, as she navigates a web of family secrets, murder, and horror after inheriting a burial ground.
Is It Any Good?
Directed by Yeon Sang-ho, best known for his work on Hellbound, this series strikes an eerie tone from the very beginning. But it quickly becomes apparent that The Bequeathed's journey through darkness is charted on a well-trodden map, with all too familiar twists and turns. It's uninspired writing will only appeal to diehard fans of horror and mystery, leaving other viewers underwhelmed.
