What's the Story?

THE BOMBING OF PAN AM 103 follows the true events and investigation surrounding the terrorist attack. On December 21, 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was flying from London to New York when it suddenly exploded and crashed into the small village of Lockerbie, Scotland. Scottish investigators Ed McCusker (Connor Swindells) and Harry Bell (Tony Curran) are called in when it's discovered that the crash was caused by a bomb. They clash with FBI Investigator Dick Marquise (Patrick J. Adams) as both countries struggle for jurisdiction. With 270 murder cases to solve and no suspect in sight, the clock ticks as families fight for accountability, countries fight for power, and the news picks someone to blame.

Kids say : Not yet rated

This series not only focuses on the tragedy and its aftermath, but also sensitively portrays the victims and investigators involved. The Bombing of Pan Am is somber, tense, emotional, and sympathetic. Performances by Swindells, Adams, and Wever showcase the humanity and compassion surrounding this real-life tragedy, from the grief, community resilience, and even the mistakes made throughout the investigation. Parents will want to mind the language and some scenes showing injuries and grim news footage.
