What's the Story?
THE DAY HENRY MET ... is an Irish animated children's series about an inquisitive boy who learns something new from everyone he meets. Henry (Darragh Malone) has the chance to meet someone new every day, like a birthday cake, a parrot, and the moon. After learning more about who they are and what they do, he goes on adventures that allow him to share and do the things his new friend does.
Is It Any Good?
This unique and charming series features a curious boy who uses his imagination to interact with the animals and objects he comes across in his daily life. The questions he asks, and the answers he's given, are easy for young viewers to comprehend. Meanwhile, Henry creates fantastical experiences using some of the facts he's collected, during which he experiences excitement, happiness, occasional anxieties, and other emotions that children can relate to. With every short installment, The Day Henry Met ... offers a lot of colorful and entertaining chances to learn something new, showing how to have fun with these new ideas.
