What's the Story?
EGGVENTURERS is a STEM series for preschoolers that follows a group of cheerful eggs who are always ready to answer the call for help. By thinking through the outcomes of possible solutions before picking the best option, the gang demonstrates basic problem solving skills in each episode. They also engineer various Rube Goldberg machines, which rely on a series of chain reactions, to help solve the problems they face.
Is It Any Good?
Animated adventures featuring Rube Golberg machine chain reactions are sure to be a hit with preschoolers, especially when the main characters occasionally jump into the action. Along with seeing all the engineering that occurs in The Eggventurers, young viewers will also learn a lot about problem solving. Each episode the cheerful little eggs work through dilemmas by picturing the outcomes of various solutions before picking the best one. They also model trying again when something doesn't work instead of getting frustrated. In fact, the Eggventurers are persistently positive characters who communicate through words, shared thoughts, and cute sounds reminiscent of the Minions. Finally, parents will appreciate that, at under 10 minutes each, the episodes are pleasantly short and sweet.
