What's the Story?

THE FRAGRANT FLOWER BLOOMS WITH DIGNITY follows Rintaro Tsumugi (voiced by Robbie Daymond) and Kaoruko Waguri (voiced by Bijou Vann), students at rival neighboring high schools. Rintaro is widely known as a scary delinquent, but he's actually a gentle softie who works at his family's bakery. It's there that he meets honor student Kaoruko, and the two of them become fast friends who challenge people's expectations.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 1 ):
Kids say ( 8 ):

This sweet teen romantic drama really shines with good life lessons. In The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, lots of the gentle drama focuses on young love, but the slow build gives characters plenty of time for personal growth. The main characters aren't exactly star-crossed lovers, but they do face social pressure. The show does a good job of showing how they handle those conflicts. Teens will likely find someone or something to relate to, and parents can appreciate all the positive role models.
