What's the Story?

THE MISFIT OF DEMON KING ACADEMY follows Anos Voldigoad (voiced by Aleks Le), the tyrannical Demon King. 2,000 years after his reign, he's reincarnated and now attends Demon King Academy. He lives in a time where pureblood descendants of his are preferred and treated better over demons who are "hybrid," or bred with other species. Anos' goal? To graduate from Demon King Academy and become a strong king once again. At the academy, he makes loyal friends like Misha (voiced by Brianna Knickerbocker) despite his being branded a misfit. He fights classmates who are aggressive and cruel and seems to come out on top every time.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 1 ):
Kids say : Not yet rated

This show seems to be geared mostly towards preteen and teen audiences, which is at odds with its mature content. The Misfit of Demon King Academy is intended to be a dark fantasy with some goofy comedy, but its violence level is inappropriate for the intended audience. The show features tons of fantasy blood and violence throughout, which seems excessive. Teen characters also appear nude, which is irrelevant to the story.
