What's the Story?

In THE POTATO LAB, employees of Sunnyeo Industries are promoting their new potatoes to the farmers of rural South Korea. But the farmers are not impressed with the offerings, kneecapping the earnest employees' efforts to sell the fruits of their labors. Meanwhile in Seoul, a larger corporation is buying out Sunnyeo, which will bring change to the agricultural team trying to grow a better potato. Can the hardworking team at the potato lab convince the corporate giants to save their outpost?

Is It Any Good?

Our review:

Kids say : Not yet rated

Decent actors are given a plodding plot and stagey lines to work with in this underwhelming series. Though the rural-vs.-urban theme has potential, there's not enough investment in character development to make The Potato Lab stick to the bones.

Teens might find this show's themes of big agriculture and corporate one-upmanship bland. Families interested in K-dramas can find better offerings to binge together.
